Office Hours: You can find me in the wood building, room #306, across and up the stairs from Mr. Bing's room. I am at school Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, usually from about 7:00-3:30pm. Please be mindful about respecting privacy when stopping by if I am with a student or another parent. Appointments are usually the best way to get some undivided attention from me.

A little about me: I have a Masters Degree in School Counseling and Ed.S Degree in School Psychology from Seattle University. I am also an advanced Positive Discipline trainer, teaching parenting classes through Positive. Discipline. Love. and trauma workshops through Sound Discipline.
I earned my BA in Dance from the University of Washington, then moved to New York City to dance professionally and concurrently work as a research assistant for the Harkness Center for Dance Injuries, a department within the Hospital for Joint Diseases. Upon moving back to Seattle, I was a counselor for homeless youth with Youth Care and danced with d9 Collective. As a school psychologist with Seattle Public Schools for 14 years, I have supported many elementary schools including Graham Hill, Muir, MacDonald, John Rogers, Dunlap, and Salmon Bay K-8 School. I also loved my six years on the Preschool Assessment Team, leading the screenings and Childfind evaluations. My specialties include working with children with autism, learning disabilities, and behavior disorders, as well as leading friendship groups and classroom meetings based on Positive Discipline and Social Thinking.
I married my college sweetheart and am the proud mother of Josephine, age 8, Violet, age 5 - and we are so excited to welcome another baby girl in May. When I get a spare moment or summer, I love to travel and practice yoga!
**I am currently out on maternity leave through June 2018--we know how time flies, so see you soon!**
